Rita Buck-Crockett began rebuilding the North Florida Volleyball Academy in November of 2005. As President and Director she has helped to grow the club into one of the largest volleyball clubs in North Florida.

North Florida Volleyball Academy based in Tallahassee, Florida. This coming year will be our 5th year running and even though we are a small city the numbers in our club continues to grow. We are dedicated in making this experience as fun and as beneficial for everyone who is involved with us.

With each year our numbers have increased and have made tremendous accomplishments for such a young club. The last two years we have had three teams receive a bid to Nationals and last year our 17 elite team coached by Rita Crockett went undefeated at the Big South Qualifier. We have also in the last two years had two coaches receive Coach of the Year awards from the Florida Region. And we have also had every single one of our players who wanted to continue playing in college receive an Athletic scholarship. This is one of our goals to help our kids receive an education while playing the sport they love.

We have big dreams for this club and will continue to do anything it takes to help our kids become successful and help them grow not only as athletes but as people.

The North Florida Volleyball Academy, Inc. (NFVA FEI: 59-3639630) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the personal and athletic development of youth through the pursuit of excellence in volleyball.  This avenue also gives high school athletes an opportunity to receive an athletic scholarship toward their college education.

Our volleyball club offers the local (Leon, Wakulla and surrounding counties) elementary, middle and high school girls and boys the opportunity to participate in clinics, camps as well as regional and national travel teams, to help them accomplish this goal.
